The High Court has ended a tortuous seven-year legal battle between Bruce Gordon’s private company and Atanaskovic Hartnell, siding with the high-profile law firm and ordering the company, Birketu, to pay it more than $500,000.
The dispute between the businessman and the firm erupted after a junior lawyer impersonated Mr Gordon’s son in 2017 and asked Deutsche Bank to transfer more than $9 million into his personal bank account.
