Top chief executives have embraced working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic and are not expecting all employees to return to the office as Australian businesses prepare to reopen.

Telstra chief executive Andy Penn told the Macquarie Australia Conference earlier this week that work-from-home arrangements (including his own) were going well and the company was considering how more staff could work remotely when the crisis was over.
