Review after coal deaths cautions on skill-shortage strains

A safety review into mining contractor Metarock has cautioned that skills shortages and the deaths of two workers in seven months are placing strain on the business.
The review, commissioned by the Mackay-based company with almost 2000 staff, overall found no major flaws in its safety, Metarock told the ASX.
