Northern Star chief expects Trump to send gold price running

Donald Trump’s looming return to the White House will buoy Australian gold miners, the boss of Northern Star has predicted, burnishing prospects for the precious metal during a period of record high prices.
Despite a wobble in the spot price in the days following the November 4 election, demand for gold has rebounded as investors seek a safe haven from the potential tumult of a second Trump term.
