Daughter became homebound, mum tells court in Glencore trial

Sharnelle Seeto had initially been unconcerned about stories of lead poisoning in the mining town of Mount Isa, but recalled receiving a worrying call after a test of her baby’s blood.
“She had a high-level reading,” Ms Seeto told Queensland’s Supreme Court on Tuesday. She was advised “to monitor [her daughter Bethany] when you take her outside, to make sure she is not in contact with dirt”.
