V8 Supercars chief executive Sean Seamer said a new television deal with Foxtel and Seven, worth $200 million over five years, would help secure its future as it prepares for its next generation of cars and allows for upside from the growth of the motorsport.
Mr Seamer said Supercars has proven it could make the sport work in a TV only version, with lockdown and public gathering restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
