Subscription video on-demand platform Stan has inked a major new multi-year deal with NBCUniversal, securing one the largest content deals in Australia with a pipeline of premium US and UK studio programming.
Sources told The Australian Financial Review that the new deal will see Stan lock in exclusive content for Peacock Originals – Peacock is NBCU's US-based streaming service – Sky Studios (which NBCU owner Comcast bought in 2018,) NBCU International Studios and new DreamWorks Animation TV series that are being made for Peacock in the US.
