Seven West Media could take Cricket Australia to the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) as soon as this week, to have an independent expert rule on the value of its cricket broadcasting rights.

Sources told The Australian Financial Review that the free-to-air broadcaster and Cricket Australia have not been able to agree on an appropriate discount to reflect changes to the schedule and squad availabilities due to COVID-19 precautionary measures, which are still being considered.
