Seven West Media chief says ad concerns are ‘overblown’

Seven West Media CEO James Warburton says concerns about the strength of the Australian advertising market are “overblown” as the media group said it would embark on a share buyback program.

Net profit fell 33.6 per cent to $211.1 million in the year ended June 30 from $318.1 million a year ago, the company that owns TV station Channel 7 and The West Australian newspaper told the ASX.
