Sally Sara has been named as the host of a new-look breakfast show on the ABC’s flagship Radio National network, with an earlier start time and three presenters alongside her as chairman Kim Williams enacts his vision of boosting its relevance and audience.

From January 20, Sara, an award-winning journalist and foreign correspondent, will take the mic from Patricia Karvelas alongside political correspondent Melissa Clarke, business correspondent Peter Ryan and news presenter Luke Siddham Dundon. The show will begin at 5.30am and continue until 9am.
