NRL, broadcasters focus on revised 2020 season

The NRL is unlikely to want to lock in a new long-term broadcast deal in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, and will instead focus on what a revised 2020 season will look like with its broadcast partners, Nine and Foxtel.

Sources told The Australian Financial Review that an extended broadcast deal is not off the table, but it is not something that Nine and Foxtel will push the NRL into unwillingly.
