Decorated soldier Ben Roberts-Smith is a war criminal, murderer and bully who was complicit in the unlawful killing of four unarmed prisoners in Afghanistan, a Federal Court judge has found.

Justice Anthony Besanko’s decision found The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, and The Canberra Times had proven Mr Roberts-Smith had broken the rules of war and disgraced his country and the army by his conduct in Afghanistan.
