News Corp offers a glimpse into Sky News earnings in bumper result

Sky News Australia recorded $27 million in revenues in the past three months of 2024, with News Corporation disclosing the financial performance of its local television network for the first and only time as it prepares to offload its cable broadcast business, Foxtel.

News Corp, controlled by the billionaire Murdoch family, reported a 5 per cent increase in revenues to $US2.24 billion ($3.6 billion), primarily driven by a significant increase in its REA real estate listings business, in the three months to December 31. Earnings rose 20 per cent to $US478 million, although this did not include the contribution from Foxtel.
