ASX-listed Seven West Media’s TV network will continue paying the rent of former Liberal staffer and accused rapist Bruce Lehrmann in Sydney until June next year, in return for interviews he gave its flagship Spotlight investigations program.

The revelation emerged in cross-examination in a NSW Federal Court on Tuesday afternoon in the defamation case he has brought against Network Ten and its former star journalist Lisa Wilkinson.
