Michael Stutchbury, the editor-in-chief of The Australian Financial Review, has called time on the role after almost 13 years leading Australia’s premier business, financial and political publication.
Stutchbury, or “Stutch” to his team, has led the Financial Review through more than 3800 editions of the printed newspaper, 7000 daily editorial meetings, tens of thousands of stories, millions of words, six prime ministers, 10 royal commissions, a global pandemic, and new ownership when Fairfax Media was bought by Nine Entertainment.
