Snickers, Milky Way get new paper-based packaging makeover

Mars Wrigley Australia, the manufacturer of Snickers and Milky Ways, will transition all Australian-made chocolate bars to a new paper-based packaging that can be recycled at traditional kerbside recycling.

The sustainably sourced paper-based packaging is the outcome of a $2.5 million investment over three years of research, and driven by its manufacturing team in Ballarat, headed by R&D director and scientist, Chris Hutton.
