Ansell’s painful post-COVID correction has six months to run

Ansell chief executive Neil Salmon says it will take a further six months for a “painful” post-COVID-19 correction to fully work through the system, and allow supply and demand to return close to normal.

The CEO of the medical gloves and surgical suit company on Tuesday was forced to cut the group’s profit guidance for the full year by about 8 per cent as customers in its broader healthcare business reduced orders, with inventory levels still too high in warehouses.
