Amcor pushes through $1b in price rises as inflation bites
Amcor, the world’s largest consumer packaging company, pushed through almost $1 billion in price rises to customers in the December half because of inflationary pressures, but signalled that future increases wouldn’t be as high.
Chief executive Ron Delia said there were signs that prices of raw materials such as resins and aluminium were either flattening out or declining, and that future price increases were likely to be below the 10 per cent mark of the December half.
