ACCC alleges BlueScope in cartel conduct

The competition regulator has launched a civil case against BlueScope Steel and a former executive alleging it engaged in cartel conduct, and has flagged a possible criminal prosecution.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission alleges BlueScope and former general manager of sales and marketing Jason Ellis tried to induce competitors to enter contracts to fix prices for flat steel products.
