$650 for RM’s? ‘People want handcrafted,’ says Nicola Forrest

Nicola Forrest, co-owner of boots and outback clothing group RM Williams, says people are tiring of throwaway fast fashion as the company targets faster growth in women’s boots which sell for up to $800 a pair.

“You look at what’s happening in the world, with digital and artificial intelligence. People are wanting handcrafted, and something that’s high quality and that lasts,” she said.
