Women now run the books and operations at many listed infrastructure companies – but female analysts and bankers remain few and far between.

Infrastructure has long been seen as a blokey industry dominated by “boys’ toys” like cars, ships, planes and trains.

But when Transurban poached the well-regarded Michelle Jablko from ANZ in December to be its new finance boss, it heralded another step up the ranks for women at Australia’s biggest listed infrastructure companies.
