Atlas Arteria chairman Debbie Goodin warned the toll road group’s investors that privatised motorways around the world are under threat from governments reclaiming control and handing them back to taxpayers.

“There is increasing pressure around sovereign risk. That’s our highest risk,” Goodin told Atlas Arteria’s annual meeting in Melbourne on Thursday.
