Queensland Labor’s infrastructure bill soars to $107b

Queensland’s infrastructure spend has blown out to $107 billion after the state Labor government flagged project cost increases totalling $2.1 billion.
Ahead of next week’s state budget, the Miles government on Friday revealed its investment into major projects over the next four years, dubbed the “big build”, rose from $89 billion – an increase of $18 billion.
