Former Bingo CEO pleads guilty after skip bin cartel probe

The former chief executive of Bingo Industries will be sentenced in March after pleading guilty to criminal cartel offences over price fixing in the demolition waste industry in Sydney in 2019 following an Australian Competition and Consumer Commission investigation.

Daniel Tartak will be sentenced in a hearing in the Federal Court on March 9 and 10. An individual convicted of a criminal cartel offence may be sentenced to up to 10 years in jail or fined up to $444,000, or a combination of both.
