Downer EDI employees, council workers ‘seriously corrupt’, ICAC finds

NSW’s corruption watchdog has found that two former employees of Downer EDI and a Sydney council showed “serious corrupt conduct” on transport projects and the ASX-listed company did not always comply with rules for dealing with subcontractors.

The Independent Commission Against Corruption’s report from its “Operation Hector” investigation into the awarding of state transport and Inner West Council projects made 10 findings of serious corrupt conduct, including against two former Downer employees.
