Albanese’s government wary of ‘overheating’ infrastructure

Federal Infrastructure Minister Catherine King has warned a rush of new big-ticket projects could overheat the already over-stretched construction market, as she flagged a soon-to-be-released review of Infrastructure Australia would sharpen the focus of the advisory body.

Ms King will tell The Australian Financial Review National Infrastructure Summit in Sydney on Monday that rising labour and material costs pose risks to projects across the country.
