Adbri on with the job after director jumps fence to Boral

Vanessa Guthrie, who has stepped up to replace Zlatko Todorcevski as the lead independent director at Australia's largest cement group Adbri after he took the top job at rival Boral Ltd, says construction materials is a ''small pool'' and they will just get on with business.

Mr Todorcevski resigned immediately as deputy chairman of Adbri on Monday after he was named as as the new chief executive of Boral, where he has outlined that he will make big strategic decisions by October on whether to sell Boral's troubled North American business.
