Ramsay Health Care, the country’s biggest hospital operator, has not ruled out buying Healthscope hospitals if high-quality assets come onto the market.

“We will always look at opportunities in the Australian market if the right assets come up, but we will be very sensible about it and that’s probably all I will say,” chief executive Natalie Davis told the Macquarie Australia Conference on Wednesday.
