Everlast squares up for fight over sports drinks
A private company with the rights to the Everlast brand of sports drinks and bottled water has raised $5 million to drive a push into the sector dominated by big rivals such as Powerade, but in the short-term has made do with sales to stranded cruise ships off the West Australian coast.
Former St Kilda AFL player Koby Stevens is among those who have invested in the $5 million raising by APR Pty Ltd, which secured the rights to produce the Everlast drinks range in Australia.
