When billionaire healthcare entrepreneur Dennis Bastas first acquired a stake in MCoBeauty, he did so hoping that it could become a platform from which he could grow a stable of beauty brands.
At the time, MCoBeauty was turning over only $10 million in revenue – a far cry from its forecast $300 million this year – but he recognised the makings of a much bigger business. He especially liked its social media footprint.
