Restructuring specialists Wexted Advisors will be scrutinising Star Entertainment’s road to redemption, after the NSW gambling watchdog hired the firm to “urgently review” the casino giant’s attempts to overhaul its operations.
The move came as Star voluntarily hired the consulting arm of global law firm Allen & Overy as its own “independent monitor” to oversee its “renewal program” for its risk, compliance and culture practices.
