Star inquiry to tackle O’Neill’s stewardship of casino

Star Entertainment executive chairman John O’Neill on Monday faces the inquiry that has cost him and most of his colleagues their jobs, as the NSW gaming watchdog digs deeper into the casino’s money laundering failures and what its leaders knew of them.

Mr O’Neill’s appearance follows his resignation from the gambling giant late on Friday, after his testimony was postponed by a week last Monday without any explanation.
