Lottery Corp may go international in hunt for lotto licences

The Lottery Corporation could go international in its hunt for new lotteries licences, but chief executive Sue van der Merwe says they must have “the right terms and conditions around them” to facilitate any top-dollar bid.

“We are very much open and alive to additional [license] opportunities,” she told The Australian Financial Review following the company’s first financial results since its spin off from Tabcorp. “This is something we are unpacking with the board at the moment given we are in very early days as a company.”
