Former Tabcorp chief executive Adam Rytenskild says he was told the wagering group would sack him if he did not immediately resign after being confronted by chairman Bruce Akhurst with allegations he made a vulgar remark about a gaming regulator.
Mr Rytenskild, who is claiming unfair dismissal in the Fair Work Commission and denies making the remark, resigned on March 14 after what his barrister Kim Anderson described on Wednesday as an “ambush”.
