Westpac CFO retires, giving Miller chance to reshape leadership

New Westpac chief executive Anthony Miller will rework the bank’s leadership team after finance boss Michael Rowland announced his retirement, taking the number of open senior positions to three.

Replacing Mr Rowland and finding a business banking chief and a head of human resources will be a priority for Mr Miller, who joined Westpac from Deutsche Bank in 2020 and took the top job on Monday.
