United States software giant SS&C Technologies, which two years ago made a $3 billion buyout proposal for Link Group but then pulled out, is back with a new strategy of trying to outmuscle Link and other rivals in Australia.
SS&C, with a sharemarket capitalisation on the Nasdaq exchange of $US12.6 billion ($18.8 billion), has secured its first full-scale superannuation administration contract in Australia.
