London | Britain’s financial regulator has revealed it is investigating Greensill Capital and one of its advisers, putting further pressure on the collapsed firm of Financial Review Rich Lister Lex Greensill as he appeared before a parliamentary committee for a three-hour mea culpa.
During a long and gruelling session, a composed Mr Greensill told MPs on Tuesday (Wednesday AEST) he was “deeply saddened” at the 1000-plus lost jobs at his firm and was “truly sorry” for the impact on his workers, investors, clients and their suppliers.
