Sargon saga lingers over Iress-OneVue deal

Chinese state-owned financier Taiping Trustees has muscled in on OneVue's efforts to rid itself of the troubled Sargon Capital, as the ASX-listed fintech receives a $107 million takeover offer from global software firm Iress.

OneVue on Monday recommended shareholders approve a binding agreement for Iress to acquire 100 per cent of its shares at 40c per share in a deal representing a 66.7 per cent premium on its last traded price.
