Ructions at Morrow Sodali as it sues former M&A head

Influential proxy advice firm Morrow Sodali is suing a former senior staffer after he allegedly used confidential information to secure a corporate client for his competing business.

The firm secured an injunction in the NSW Supreme Court against Marc Stanghieri – Morrow Sodali’s head of mergers and acquisitions until February – that allows him to only conduct limited work for major client, Boss Energy, and restricts him from seeking further work for his rival firm.
