Prospa loans up 26pc as SME confidence rebounds

Online lender Prospa has reported loan originations of $100.7 million for the last three months of 2020, up by 26 per cent on the previous quarter as demand for finance from small and medium businesses starts to normalise.

The nine-year-old fintech experienced strong month-on-month growth late last year, with $19.6 million in loans originated in October, $32.4 million in November and $46.6 million in December.
