Pollination, the climate-focused advisory like a green Macquarie, will launch a $150 million venture capital fund to capture interest from wealthy investors who want a piece of the energy transition outside new generation, where returns have shrunk.

The firm has snared a cornerstone commitment from Queensland fund QIC and will invest in industries including energy management, transport, food and agriculture, nature management and recycling.
