NZ regulators probe banks over government bond trading

The New Zealand operations of Australia’s big four banks could become the subject of a regulatory investigation into manipulating government bond rates, similar to the corporate watchdog’s probe into ANZ.
Regulators are looking into two of six complaints relating to “possible market manipulation in New Zealand’s wholesale interest rate and government bond markets”, according to media reports in New Zealand.
