Judge scolds Mayfair's Mawhinney amid fund investor concern

A judge has reprimanded attempts from investment outfit Mayfair 101’s founder to recruit investors to wrest control of key parts of an ailing $80 million fund.

The investors had not been informed about the “true state of affairs”, Victorian Supreme Court Justice Ross Robson said in a hearing involving Mayfair’s IPO Wealth fund.
