IAG splits with rival in seeking bigger home insurance market

IAG is targeting more customers in the increasingly pricey home and motor insurance market, in contrast to its main rival Suncorp abandoning such growth goals in the short term.
The guidance came as Sydney-based IAG, behind brands such as NRMA, revealed customers are being lumped with price rises of up to 11 per cent for motor cover and 10 per cent from homes.
