Insurance Australia Group allegedly offered to cover $60 million in debts from a British Virgin Islands-incorporated company with purported links to Russian oligarchs and a skyscraper project, it can be revealed.

A new lawsuit has alleged the BVI company had rolled over its debts for years, thanks to top-ups from the Greensill supply chain finance group, by the time Sydney-based IAG became involved.
