Rich Lister and exchange traded fund pioneer Graham Tuckwell has attacked a group of private equity funds who are suing him, saying he is being extorted and the legal action is an abuse of the court process.

The financial services entrepreneur and philanthropist is being sued in a Jersey court by a group of minority shareholders in a company he founded, alleging he is treating it like a personal piggybank and has refused to pay them what they are owed.
