Castle Rock Global Capital acted ‘dishonestly and recklessly’
The forex investor Castle Rock Global Capital and a closely related company, Davcas Investments, which functioned together as a Ponzi scheme in Sydney’s northern suburbs, has been described by the voluntary administrator as acting dishonestly and recklessly.
In blunt language, the administrator – FerrierSilvia’s Geoffrey Granger –
described a scheme where investors who were mostly friends and family of the Castle Rock and Davcas director David Hunter Campbell were baited to put more money in by false statements showing big returns.
