BPay wants ‘misleading’ crypto exchange to be taken down

BPay is pushing to take down a little-known cryptocurrency exchange that it says has infringed on its trademarks and misled consumers into thinking it has endorsed the platform.

Cryptocurrency platform BePay Australia , which promotes a coin called “Barteos”, allegedly ignored cease-and-desist letters sent by payments giant BPay in February, April and June last year after the latter discovered that the platform was using logos that “would be likely to be taken as indicating a connection” between the pair.
