Australian Ethical eyes default superannuation market
Australian Ethical has backed the Turnbull government's planned changes to superannuation taxes and push to give employers more freedom when choosing the default fund for their workers.
Restrictions that require big employers to chose the default super fund for their staff from a shortlist nominated in the relevant union-negotiated industrial award are "anti-competitive" and "should be removed", Australian Ethical chief executive Phillip Vernon told The Australian Financial Review.
