ASX chief tells stockbrokers new CHESS will put ‘safety’ over speed

ASX chief executive Helen Lofthouse told stockbrokers the exchange will prioritise the safe implementation of its second attempt to replace CHESS over speed in getting the resuscitated project up and running.

The market operator has received responses to its tender from global settlement and clearing technology providers vying to build the revised system.
